Pick up your FREE Maps at the Chamber of Commerce, Hwy 14, MP 65, John L Scott, 1000 W Steuben, Bingen, Sterling Bank, White Salmon, Swimming Pool Sale at Vanguards at the bottom of Dock Grade and at most yard sale participants. 8 - 5 daily. Treasures galore. Chamber parking lot will have Klickitat Tribal baskets.
Parks & Rec Gets A YES!
June 9th, 2010Today the Klickitat County Commissioners authorized the Mt. Adams Joint Parks & Rec District to be on the ballot for your vote in November - yehaaaaaaaa.
Thanks for all your support. Just wanted to let all those who have helped know we made big strides today.
I guess the real work begins now right? If you are interested in becoming a Parks and Rec commissioner, just let me know. There will be 5 vacant seats to fill come November.
Also, if anyone wants to get involved in the PR phase and getting the word out to vote “yes” in November, let me know also. We could use some great ideas.

Ribbon Cutting at Henni’s
May 19th, 2010Come to the Ribbon Cutting for Christiaan and Sara at Henni’s, 128 E Jewett Blvd. in White Salmon, Friday, May 21 at 4:00. There will be food and drink for 1/2 hour. From there, go to the park for the beginning of Spring Fest and watch the talent show. Great fun all weekend in White Salmon.
